Grant Funding for Enhancing Production Capabilities for Military and Dual-Use Products
Procedure: Strengthening Industrial Capacity in the Field of Defense Capabilities
Program: Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises
Eligible Activities and Costs:
Eligible activities:
1.Investments in the production of defense-related products included in the EU Common Military List;
2.Investments in the production of dual-use products included in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821.
Eligible Costs that Enhance Production Capacity for Defense Products and/or Dual-Use Items:
- Tangible Fixed Assets (TFA); Construction and Installation Works (CIW), representing TFA – up to 50% of eligible costs.
- Intangible Fixed Assets (IFA): Acquisition of software, patents, licenses, know-how, etc. – up to 50% of eligible project costs.
Who can apply? Micro, small, medium, and large enterprises registered before December 31, 2022, with the respective net sales revenue, engaged in:
- Manufacturing activities,
- Information Technology and Information Services,
- Professional activities and scientific research.
Deadline for Submission of Project Proposals: : 15 April 2026
Grant amount: Up to EUR 3,5 m. (BGN 7 m.) which may cover up to 70% of the eligible project costs.
Project Implementation Duration: Must not exceed 18 months
