PwC Bulgaria collected 66 000 BGN for the Bulgarian students!
PwC’s Bulgaria Charity Auction “Give a Hand” collected 66 000 BGN for the Bulgarian students. At a special event on October 9, 2018, we presented 28 unique paintings, personalized by some of the most successful Bulgarian celebrities - Lili Ivanova, Stoyanka Mutafova, Vasko Vassilev, Stefka Kostadinova, Hristo Stoichkov, Signal band, Georgi Mamalev, the President Rumen Radev, Valya Balkanska and many more.
The guests of the event had the chance to vote for the charity cause which the money would be donated for - education, health or art. The majority of the guests voted for education so the money would be used for scholarships for young people studying pedagogy.
Special guests of the event was the prime of the Bulgarian pop music – Lili Ivanova. She stood behind the cause and gave a charity concert in support of the students.
I would like to thank all our celebrities and partners who participated in the auction and supported the cause. I believe together we will succeed in motivating more and more Bulgarian students stay and develop in Bulgaria. I am proud of all of us who "gave a hand" - we will continue doing so in the future.
