PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) is a globally recognised professional certification for project managers issued by the Project Management Institute – PMI (www.pmi.org). PMI is the world’s leading not-for-profit membership association for the project management profession, with more than 600,000 members and credential holders in more than 185 countries.
The PMP is a professional qualification for people with experience and knowledge in project management who are looking to solidify and certify their skills with this globally recognised certification.
To apply for the PMP, you need to have either:
A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours of leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours of leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.

Miro Smolovic
Miro currently holds a position of Partner in StudySmart training organization, and is Senior Advisor to PwC’s Academy in Central and Eastern Europe. He is an expert with more than 25 years of experience in providing services to corporate, private, and non-governmental sectors.
Prior to StudySmart, Miro spent 13 years as PwC’s Academy Leader for SEE, practicing also as trainer and consultant in self-development and life-long learning. Miro was engaged in creating PwC’s Academy in Serbia. His ideas were replicated across our Network when starting PwC Academies in CEE and globally. He worked in Central and Eastern European emerging markets where he gained experience in management, organizational behaviour and leadership by working with international inter-disciplinary project teams on both private sector and donor-funded development projects. He provided services to clients operating in different sectors of industry such as banking and finance, industry and manufacturing, FMCG, the public sector, and other sectors.
Miro is an experienced PMP trainer covering different types of business training in both hard and soft skills. He delivered large-scale training courses in CEE and the EU countries. He delivered training courses in Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Poland, and in other countries in the Region.
Miro graduated from City University of Seattle, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also a certified trainer for PMP PREP by RMC, a certified trainer for Daniel H. Pink’s Drive (The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us), and a certified trainer for Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI). Miro is also a certified business coach.
