What are the hot topics in IFRS and sustainability reporting in 2025?
- We are pretty sure you have heard that two new standards, IFRS 18 and IFRS 19 are coming soon. Would you like to learn about the detailed proposal and potential issues about the standards that you should be considering now?
Applying IFRS Accounting standards is challenging. We have collected some exciting practical issues that we have seen in our CEE practice and would like to share with you, for example how to handle different share-based payment schemes, how to classify issued preference shares including complex features, common pitfalls of liquidity disclosures under IFRS7, and many more!
Obviously we will be covering new amendments, IFRIC agenda decisions and developments in standard setting applicable for 2025 and beyond

He is also an IFRS technical partner covering 27 countries from Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. He is the co-author of the PwC IFRS Manual of Accounting and delivers IFRS training across the PwC network.
